Drone Services Dorset – 10 Tors 2018
In 2018 we were hired along with a colleague company to record the ten tors hike across Dartmoor on behalf of the British Armed Forces. This British Armed Forces who are the organisers of this event every year. This event is aimed at teenagers in order to teach them teambuilding skills. On an average event they have 2500 people attending this event. As you can see from this video they also have a special event for people with a disability in wheelchairs as well as learning disabilities.
With a mixture of lengths of hikes across Dartmoor ranging from 35 miles up to 45 miles the competitors can choose which one they undertake. Overhead there are helicopters keeping an eye on the competitors should they get into trouble.
We thoroughly enjoyed this event although the pilots had couple of early mornings. The pilots were on site for three days and recorded approximately eight hours of footage.
